Spectators: 9400 (Terracing: 7000, Seating: 2200, VIP seats: 200) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Neşat Beykan took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Balus Treter's Naldo Diniz got a free kick in the 7th minute. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Alvar Nordgren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Balus Treter. After some careless play in the Balus Treter defense, Matti Erkiner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karsten Zielinski. The Balus Treter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karsten Zielinski should have stopped the shot. Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matti Erkiner in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Neşat Beykan made a precise shot to the right of Heinz-Gerd Bonin. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Alvar Nordgren came free, but Karsten Zielinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heinz-Gerd Bonin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob van der Werff in the 27th minute of play. Karsten Zielinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matti Erkiner's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Karsten Zielinski came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Matti Erkiner. But to his dismay, Matti Erkiner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Heinz-Gerd Bonin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob van der Werff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Jacob van der Werff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matti Erkiner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karsten Zielinski came out and tried to block the shot, but Matti Erkiner slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 35th minute. Karsten Zielinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvar Nordgren in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Neşat Beykan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Naldo Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Balus Treter from getting a goal against them. Timos Karabelas kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matti Erkiner to make the kick off. Adriano Görlitz kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Balus Treter's Heinz-Gerd Bonin threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jacob van der Werff, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 58th minute, Neşat Beykan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heinz-Gerd Bonin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Wieslaw Bykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Alvar Nordgren came free, but Karsten Zielinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karsten Zielinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matti Erkiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Karsten Zielinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andras Gafus in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Freerk Sauer hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd match minute, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freerk Sauer to maneuver through the defense. Theo Ljucovic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karsten Zielinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Theo Ljucovic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvar Nordgren in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karsten Zielinski saved Balus Treter from getting behind. A collision led to 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Freerk Sauer hit a great ball. Heinz-Gerd Bonin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob van der Werff, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob van der Werff in the 96th minute of play. Balus Treter's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
