Mustafa Yaşar Gündüz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maciej Kaider. Nový Jičín - Planá's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 8th minute Marcos Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goran Karačić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maciej Kaider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petr Kovalčík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Vasil Folwarczny recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Goran Karačić. Vasil Folwarczny showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Josef Mertlík kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Nový Jičín - Planá's goal looked a bit too open when Petr Kovalčík came free, but Maciej Kaider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otto Kulich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Marcos Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Goran Karačić was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Marquez to make the kick off. Marcos Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goran Karačić having to interfere. If Otto Kulich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Boris Melichar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maciej Kaider, 2-1. Maciej Kaider made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Karel Daneš sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasil Folwarczny struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Nový Jičín - Planá's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goran Karačić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Nový Jičín - Planá were the better team. Nový Jičín - Planá's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
