After a defensive mix-up in Nottingham Forest FC's zone, Dezider Noha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaromír Kocur came out of the goal and Dezider Noha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norbert Hnilička could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jaromír Kocur made a huge save. Norbert Hnilička received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jaromír Kocur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaromír Kocur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimír Chadim in the 42nd minute of play. Roman Pytlík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Veber in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Veber to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Vicktoria's Zoran Žežulka got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ludovít Haluza shot from long distance in the 53rd minute, but Roman Pytlík was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Norbert Hnilička fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaromír Kocur having to interfere. Norbert Hnilička might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaromír Kocur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norbert Hnilička ran back to his position shaking his head. After 63 minutes of play, FC Vicktoria's Vladimír Chadim made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaromír Kocur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vladimír Chadim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaromír Kocur having to interfere. Miroslav Kašák didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, FC Vicktoria's goalkeeper Roman Pytlík had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaroslav Kozelský. Jaromír Kocur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Hnilička in the 79th minute of play. Norbert Hnilička received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jaromír Kocur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimír Chadim scored 3-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaromír Kocur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaromír Kocur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Hnilička in the 89th minute of play. Norbert Hnilička sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vladimír Chadim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
