FC Sviadnov's Josef Nevečeřal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Sviadnov from getting a goal against them. FC Řetenice's Nemesio Lorencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Krob in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Kaj Mellberg made a precise shot to the right of Josef Nevečeřal. 1. FC Sviadnov's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Maia in the 11th minute of play forced 1. FC Sviadnov's goalkeeper Josef Nevečeřal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Řetenice booed when 1. FC Sviadnov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karel Sádovský didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Řetenice's Alexandr Lipták shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Josef Nevečeřal but with some difficulty. Kaj Mellberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Josef Nevečeřal came out and tried to block the shot, but Kaj Mellberg slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. Josef Nevečeřal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonín Nečesaný, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josef Nevečeřal was a little too slow when Gustavo Maia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-0. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Antonín Nečesaný took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Josef Nevečeřal to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radek Koza in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Řetenice's goalkeeper Nemesio Lorencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Radek Koza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Antonín Nečesaný shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Nevečeřal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Plhal to make the kick off. FC Řetenice's Nemesio Lorencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Řetenice from getting a goal against them. Norbert Krob came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nemesio Lorencio could save by the left post. In the 56th minute Jan Plhal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Lorencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1. FC Sviadnov's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hristo Stoichkov in the 57th minute. Josef Nevečeřal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonín Nečesaný in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61stth minute of the game Antonín Nečesaný who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1. FC Sviadnov's Josef Nevečeřal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 63 played minutes 1. FC Sviadnov got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Krob. Josef Nevečeřal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Maia went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Grygoriy Rurych was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, one of FC Řetenice:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Řetenice. The supporters of 1. FC Sviadnov booed when FC Řetenice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radmil Kubišta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 minutes of play, 1. FC Sviadnov's Hristo Stoichkov made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nemesio Lorencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Norbert Krob got free with Nemesio Lorencio in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexandr Lipták got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Antonín Nečesaný. In the 91st minute, Gustavo Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonín Nečesaný might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josef Nevečeřal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonín Nečesaný ran back to his position shaking his head. If Radek Koza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemesio Lorencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Plhal in the 98th minute of the match. FC Řetenice were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of 1. FC Sviadnov for a fine match.
