Spectators: 8393 (Terracing: 6297, Seating: 1930, VIP seats: 166) FC Řetenice's Nemesio Lorencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bohumil Ščuka in the 3rd minute of play. Alexandr Lipták hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 4 played minutes, TJ Melnik's Tomáš Smítka shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nemesio Lorencio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TJ Melnik reached it. Kaj Mellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Hlaváč having to interfere. Kaj Mellberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julius Hlaváč. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaj Mellberg ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of FC Řetenice booed when TJ Melnik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilibald Herda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaj Mellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Julius Hlaváč tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaj Mellberg struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Julius Hlaváč didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Řetenice. Gustavo Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, TJ Melnik's Julius Hlaváč got control of the ball when Kaj Mellberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. TJ Melnik's Julius Hlaváč proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save TJ Melnik from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in TJ Melnik's zone, Kaj Mellberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Hlaváč came out of the goal and Kaj Mellberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julius Hlaváč made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Mellberg in the 35th minute of play. When Gustavo Maia came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC Řetenice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Maia couldn't finish the play. Julius Hlaváč was a little too slow when Gustavo Maia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in TJ Melnik fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Julius Hlaváč took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaj Mellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julius Hlaváč came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Řetenice's Kaj Mellberg. But to his dismay, Kaj Mellberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After 62 played minutes FC Řetenice got a freekick which was hit by Radmil Kubišta. In the 64th minute, Vilibald Herda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaj Mellberg took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julius Hlaváč. Julius Hlaváč dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Julius Hlaváč came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Řetenice's Gustavo Maia. But to his dismay, Gustavo Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. If Gustavo Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julius Hlaváč took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julius Hlaváč didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonín Nečesaný went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, TJ Melnik's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Maia came free, but Julius Hlaváč reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, TJ Melnik's David Kalous dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-2. Bohumil Ščuka might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nemesio Lorencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bohumil Ščuka ran back to his position shaking his head. Julius Hlaváč showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Mellberg in the 97th minute of the match. FC Řetenice's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
