The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vilibald Herda during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to TJ Melnik getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Vilibald Herda hit a great ball. Julius Hlaváč showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Plhal, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. TJ Melnik's Julius Hlaváč played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Plhal in the 11th minute of play. Josef Nevečeřal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Kalous went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the game, 1. FC Sviadnov's Norbert Krob nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julius Hlaváč made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 1. FC Sviadnov's Radmil Kabeš managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Petr Šťáva in the 23 minute of the game. Julius Hlaváč showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Krob in the 28th minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 1. FC Sviadnov! When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, TJ Melnik's Tomáš Smítka got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Josef Nevečeřal. A collision led to 1. FC Sviadnov getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Branislav Buršík hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tomáš Smítka managed to get in a good position for a shot. TJ Melnik's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomáš Smítka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josef Nevečeřal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in TJ Melnik's zone, Jan Plhal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Hlaváč came out of the goal and Jan Plhal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, David Kalous was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TJ Melnik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1. FC Sviadnov the free kick. After a rather tough play, TJ Melnik's David Kalous got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Jan Plhal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michal Vysoudil kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Kalous to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by František Vostřel during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. František Vostřel hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Bohumil Ščuka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Josef Nevečeřal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josef Nevečeřal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Kalous, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norbert Krob who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Julius Hlaváč when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Josef Nevečeřal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Kalous in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Norbert Krob managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1. FC Sviadnov's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Krob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julius Hlaváč breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to TJ Melnik getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. František Vostřel hit a great ball. Norbert Krob took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julius Hlaváč. Julius Hlaváč dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The TJ Melnik fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 1. FC Sviadnov were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
