Seating: 1962, VIP seats: 170) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martin Rytíř kicked off to start the match. FC Colo - Colo's Viorel Bercea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Love in the 2nd minute of play. Viorel Bercea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vágner Love went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zdeněk Veleta during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zdeněk Veleta hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Love in the 6th minute of play forced FC Colo - Colo's goalkeeper Viorel Bercea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Colo - Colo's Martin Rytíř got a free kick in the 7th minute. Basílio Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günter Pich, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Oltec's Gustav Jeníček got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Günter Pich who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Oltec's Basílio Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute of the match, Martin Rytíř got a very nice opportunity to score, but Basílio Soeiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Günter Pich took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Basílio Soeiro to make any attempt to save it. After 24 minutes, Vágner Love mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Oltec and the FC Colo - Colo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, FC Oltec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Love to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Love in the 27th minute of play forced FC Colo - Colo's goalkeeper Viorel Bercea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viorel Bercea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egon Bulín's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes FC Colo - Colo got a freekick which was hit by Zdeněk Veleta. A collision led to FC Oltec getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tomáš Kročil hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Oltec's zone, Günter Pich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Soeiro came out of the goal and Günter Pich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viorel Bercea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Chico in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Günter Pich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Colo - Colo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Günter Pich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Günter Pich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Tadeo Chico made the kick off in the second half. Basílio Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günter Pich in the 53rd minute of the match. Günter Pich struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Basílio Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Colo - Colo. 61 minutes into the game, FC Colo - Colo's Martin Rytíř nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basílio Soeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Viorel Bercea came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Oltec's Vágner Love. But to his dismay, Vágner Love quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 68th minute Tadeo Chico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viorel Bercea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Günter Pich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Soeiro having to interfere. If Vágner Love had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Rytíř received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Basílio Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Martin Rytíř cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Basílio Soeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tadeo Chico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Viorel Bercea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Colo - Colo getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Zdeněk Veleta hit a great ball. In the 87th match minute, FC Oltec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohdan Mráz to maneuver through the defense. Günter Pich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Basílio Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Günter Pich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Soeiro having to interfere.
