Spectators: 7847 (Terracing: 6297, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) Miroslav Ferda started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vítek Semerád was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lubomír Dolenský showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match, Leonard Fidler got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vítek Semerád was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 13 minutes, Miroslav Ferda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miroslav Ferda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Cheb's Vítek Semerád got control of the ball when Leonard Fidler tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Kubálek in the 17th minute of play forced FC HLAVNICE's goalkeeper Koloman Dunka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute of the match, Leonard Fidler got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vítek Semerád was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vítek Semerád took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lubomír Dolenský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Koloman Dunka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Ferda in the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Miroslav Ferda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miroslav Ferda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cheb's Andreas Pinc got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cheb's Vítek Semerád proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Cheb from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Cheb's Miroslav Ferda got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Hrazdíra in the 40th minute of play forced Cheb's goalkeeper Vítek Semerád to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Fidler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Vítek Semerád made a huge save. Cheb's Jiří Kubálek got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vítek Semerád showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lubomír Dolenský, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonard Fidler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FC HLAVNICE's Koloman Dunka got control of the ball when Jiří Kubálek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th match minute, FC HLAVNICE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Hrazdíra to maneuver through the defense. Miroslav Ferda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC HLAVNICE's Matěj Ruml was substituted for Anton Ernst. After a rather tough play, FC HLAVNICE's Martin Hrazdíra got a free kick in the 61st minute. Andreas Pinc kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Fidler in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítek Semerád saved Cheb from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, FC HLAVNICE's Leonard Fidler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vítek Semerád narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Cheb's goal looked a bit too open when Lubomír Dolenský came free, but Vítek Semerád reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miroslav Ferda took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Koloman Dunka. Koloman Dunka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Budský during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 84 minutes into the match, Cheb's goal looked a bit too open when Lubomír Dolenský came free, but Vítek Semerád reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jiří Kubálek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koloman Dunka having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC HLAVNICE's zone, Miroslav Ferda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koloman Dunka came out of the goal and Miroslav Ferda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
