The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, FC Hradesice's goal looked a bit too open when Jáchym Morong came free, but Jan Frühauf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jiří Šorm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Bittner in the 16th minute of the match. Jiří Šorm made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Petr Polanecký sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Pavel Sigmund made a precise shot to the right of Jiří Šorm. FK Barcley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Jáchym Morong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jiří Šorm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Sigmund in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Szturc in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Hradesice's goalkeeper Jan Frühauf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zdeněk Sklenička charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zdeněk Sklenička the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The wind increased when Jáchym Morong made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jáchym Morong managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Barcley's supporters rose to their feet, but Jáchym Morong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Frühauf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jáchym Morong in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Frühauf saved FC Hradesice from getting behind. Jáchym Morong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Josef Bittner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FK Barcley's Leonard Jech was substituted for Lubor Zuska. The supporters of FK Barcley booed when FC Hradesice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Bittner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 minutes of play, FC Hradesice's Petr Polanecký made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jiří Šorm was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jiří Šorm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Bittner in the 80th minute of the match. Jáchym Morong was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. FK Barcley's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A hard shot 85 in the game by Jáchym Morong from a close distance when the talented Jan Frühauf managed to make a qualified save. FC Hradesice's players were relieved.
