The referee ignored FC Patov's protests and gave Generoso Papon a yellow card for diving instead. Generoso Papon hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Patov booed when AC Sparta Praha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiří Hurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tage Pålsson scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Czarnecki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tage Pålsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Kurt Janiš kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bogdan Czarnecki. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Tage Pålsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Czarnecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. FC Patov's supporters rose to their feet, but Tage Pålsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Czarnecki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Tage Pålsson notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of AC Sparta Praha's Bogdan Czarnecki. Bogdan Czarnecki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tage Pålsson came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FC Patov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tage Pålsson couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Tage Pålsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogdan Czarnecki. AC Sparta Praha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tage Pålsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. FC Patov's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
