Spectators: 7032 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1932, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antonín Skoupil started the match with the kick off. Antonín Skoupil scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Nohel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jan Šimčík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Tomáš Vocásek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Nohel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes, Tomáš Vocásek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slavoj Český Těšín and the Barca players grew even worse after the yellow card. 22 minutes into the match, Barca's goalkeeper Stefan Nohel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonín Skoupil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Snížek in the 24th minute of play forced Slavoj Český Těšín's goalkeeper Bohuš Kopic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Tomáš Vocásek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Stefan Nohel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Antonín Skoupil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Stefan Nohel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Stefan Nohel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Šimčík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Antonín Skoupil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Nohel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 35 minutes into the match, Slavoj Český Těšín's goal looked a bit too open when Imrich Šimík came free, but Bohuš Kopic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Karel Heřman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bohuš Kopic. Slavoj Český Těšín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karel Heřman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. When Zdislav Stibor fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barca's protests and gave Zdislav Stibor a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Barca's Zdislav Stibor got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karel Černý made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Barca's Karel Černý made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bohuš Kopic was left in no man's land by his defense there! During the 57th minute of the match Zdislav Stibor completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zdislav Stibor a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 57th minute, one of Barca:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barca. Werner Slouka shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 62 played minutes Barca got a freekick which was hit by Karel Heřman. The supporters of Slavoj Český Těšín booed when Barca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svatomír Lyčka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slavoj Český Těšín's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Jiří Janečka scored to the left of an out of position Bohuš Kopic, making the score, 4-3. Stefan Nohel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonín Skoupil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bohuš Kopic made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Imrich Šimík sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute Henryk Reindl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Nohel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bedřich Teplý sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barca's Stefan Nohel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonín Skoupil in the 90th minute of play. Stefan Nohel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonín Skoupil in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Slavoj Český Těšín fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
