In the 6th minute Carlos Brandenberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klemens Ducharme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimund Urfer, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Klemens Ducharme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Brandenberger in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Brandenberger in the 12th minute of play forced Carlo Cokxxx Nutten's goalkeeper Klemens Ducharme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carlo Cokxxx Nutten's zone, Carlos Brandenberger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klemens Ducharme came out of the goal and Carlos Brandenberger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Carlos Brandenberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Sven Frei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferden FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carlo Cokxxx Nutten the free kick. The supporters of Carlo Cokxxx Nutten booed when Ferden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Frei didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carlo Cokxxx Nutten's goalkeeper Klemens Ducharme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 38 minutes, Carlos Brandenberger made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Carlo Cokxxx Nutten's Klemens Ducharme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ferden FC's Giovanni Piller proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Ferden FC from getting a goal against them. Giovanni Piller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Méthot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Carlo Cokxxx Nutten booed when Ferden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Freeh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Brandenberger to make the kick off. Carlos Brandenberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Maik Dové quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Samuele Freihofer's late challenge caught a Carlo Cokxxx Nutten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuele Freihofer helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ferden FC! In the 68th match minute, Ferden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Frei to maneuver through the defense. Ferden FC's Giovanni Piller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Méthot in the 70th minute of play. If Carlos Brandenberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Klemens Ducharme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Brandenberger in the 86th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Ferden FC's Rodrigo Gerig made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klemens Ducharme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernhard Uttiger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klemens Ducharme having to interfere.
