The audience cheered loudly when Jud Stalder's long shot in the 16th minute became 1-1 when the ball went to the left of and passed Johnny Mazuret. After a rather tough play, Manchester Gais's Moritz Gremion got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Vittorio Weiss sped through besan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johnny Mazuret. When Vittorio Weiss came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Manchester Gais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vittorio Weiss couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester Gais's goalkeeper Tommy Betschart, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Manchester Gais defense, Clayton Zarrella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Betschart. The Manchester Gais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Betschart should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Germano Goetschi to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 55 in the game by Gregory Waller from a close distance when the talented Tommy Betschart managed to make a qualified save. Manchester Gais's players were relieved. A collision led to Manchester Gais getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Owen Rominger hit a great ball. Johnny Mazuret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Goetschi in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, besan's goal looked a bit too open when Vittorio Weiss came free, but Johnny Mazuret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clayton Zarrella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Gregory Waller took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Tommy Betschart to make any attempt to save it. When Gregory Waller came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the besan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregory Waller couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, besan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulric Erasmo to maneuver through the defense.
