The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, 1. FC Klosterbräu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pablo Beyer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Constantin Grossmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Williams having to interfere. Cillian Duerr's late challenge caught a Henggart's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cillian Duerr helped the player get up and apologised. 22 minutes into the game, Pablo Beyer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thommy Stadler. Pablo Beyer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Geraldo Williams showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Owain Salaar in the 31st minute of the match. Henggart's Pablo Beyer got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, 1. FC Klosterbräu's Thommy Stadler got control of the ball when Fidel Egemann tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1. FC Klosterbräu's Constantin Grossmann got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, 1. FC Klosterbräu's Owain Salaar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geraldo Williams narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Klosterbräu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
