The Falido FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Migneault should have stopped the shot. Edgar Migneault showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christophe Kurmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Alexander Bachmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovanni Bossardt having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Giswil's Beniamino Lischer got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianluca Frutig in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Migneault prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giswil were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Falido FC's much stronger midfield.
