Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Born71's Florian Vetter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gordon Leisibach was a little too slow when Rico Dürst got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Jerold Williams was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Byoung Iland's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 8 minutes into the match, Owain Michon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gordon Leisibach. FC Born71's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Owain Michon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Jerold Williams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Jerold Williams recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gordon Leisibach. Jerold Williams showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Gordon Leisibach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerold Williams in the 25th minute of the match. Gordon Leisibach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerold Williams in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Florian Vetter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerd Freuler charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerd Freuler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Gerd Freuler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gordon Leisibach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerold Williams in the 41st minute of play. FC Born71's Gordon Leisibach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rico Dürst in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerold Williams made a kick off. Gordon Leisibach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerold Williams, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Owain Michon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jerold Williams recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Owain Michon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gordon Leisibach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerold Williams's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Owain Michon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gordon Leisibach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Philipp Behr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Byoung Iland and the FC Born71 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes Byoung Iland got a freekick which was hit by Philipp Behr. Florian Vetter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Chris Favre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Owain Michon in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gordon Leisibach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in FC Born71's zone, Owain Michon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gordon Leisibach came out of the goal and Owain Michon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Owain Michon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Leisibach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Owain Michon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jerold Williams recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerold Williams's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gordon Leisibach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Jerold Williams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gordon Leisibach having to interfere. Owain Michon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Byoung Iland had played much better football throughout.
