Gianluca Drechsler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garcia Lengen in the 16th minute of the match. ESC Kriessern's Gillian Jaeger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save ESC Kriessern from getting a goal against them. If Garcia Lengen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Bader charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Bader the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nankatsu SC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Michael Bader hit a great ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Tam Ulrich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESC Kriessern's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tam Ulrich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Miani in the 26th minute of play forced ESC Kriessern's goalkeeper Gillian Jaeger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 53 played minutes Nankatsu SC got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Schaer. Gillian Jaeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Vonrotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gillian Jaeger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Schaer in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Tam Ulrich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESC Kriessern fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Garcia Lengen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluca Drechsler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Franek Megnet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franek Megnet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gianluca Drechsler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglas Schaer's late challenge caught a ESC Kriessern's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douglas Schaer helped the player get up and apologised.
