The audience held their breath when Henri Sforza in the 12th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Gordon Leisibach's left hand side. Henri Sforza's late challenge caught a FC Born71's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henri Sforza helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Sushi Style got a freekick which was hit by Henri Sforza. Balduin Oehen charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Balduin Oehen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Balduin Oehen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henri Sforza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gordon Leisibach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Sushi Style's Ralph Luginbühl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gordon Leisibach made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gordon Leisibach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralph Luginbühl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Ralph Luginbühl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Leisibach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Sushi Style's Ralph Luginbühl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gordon Leisibach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ralph Luginbühl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Born71's Jonas Peyer got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, FC Born71's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Luginbühl came free, but Gordon Leisibach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Gordon Leisibach managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Sushi Style's Henri Sforza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Henri Sforza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gordon Leisibach having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Ralph Luginbühl dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gordon Leisibach, 0-6. In the 84th minute, Sushi Style's Ralph Luginbühl dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. In the 89th minute, Henri Sforza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gordon Leisibach. The goal made the score 0-8. When the match was over Sushi Style could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Born71 throughout the match.
