Boltigen HC's Gerard Oderholz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Boltigen HC from getting a goal against them. Jaromir Gerig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerard Oderholz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Lambrozzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Raimundo Lambrozzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Oderholz having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Vittore Rotzer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Aigle's Griffin Gassmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st play minute Jordan Déziel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gerard Oderholz. 1-0. If Vittore Rotzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Griffin Gassmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vittorio Grondin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dirk Luthiger kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Alexandre Scheupach came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Boltigen HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Scheupach couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Vittore Rotzer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Griffin Gassmann was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When Joel Schmid fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Aigle's protests and gave Joel Schmid a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Boltigen HC booed when FC Aigle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Schmid didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Charles Freuler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boltigen HC and the FC Aigle players grew even worse after the yellow card. Charles Freuler hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Gerard Oderholz made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Rainer Emmeneger sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vittore Rotzer to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, FC Aigle's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Caspar Hodel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Griffin Gassmann didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Boltigen HC's Vittore Rotzer shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 64 played minutes Boltigen HC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Scheupach. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vittore Rotzer in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Griffin Gassmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 70 minutes, Vittore Rotzer made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Aigle's Griffin Gassmann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the game, Raimundo Lambrozzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Aigle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boltigen HC the free kick. A collision led to FC Aigle getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Raimundo Lambrozzi hit a great ball. Vittore Rotzer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Griffin Gassmann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vittore Rotzer in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Aigle's goalkeeper Griffin Gassmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caspar Hodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Griffin Gassmann having to interfere. After 96 minutes FC Aigle's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vittore Rotzer who took care of the corner kick. Boltigen HC's Vittore Rotzer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Griffin Gassmann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match was over Boltigen HC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Aigle throughout the match.
