Spectators: 6807 (Terracing: 5807, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fritz Fassbinder got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Fritz Fassbinder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Walliser was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Fussball Club Luzern's Leonard Megnet got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Vicente Holzner successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 25th minute, Fritz Fassbinder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th match minute, Fussball Club Luzern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedict Lustenberger to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Clint Malatesta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Holzner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Kamarche in the 34th minute of play forced Fussball Club Luzern's goalkeeper Raul Walliser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Walliser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fritz Fassbinder, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Leverett Fuerst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clint Malatesta made a kick off. When Clint Malatesta came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Fussball Club Luzern fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clint Malatesta couldn't finish the play. After 54 played minutes Oberengstringen AC got a freekick which was hit by Leonhard Schultz. Vicente Holzner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Megnet in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clint Malatesta in the 62nd minute of play forced Oberengstringen AC's goalkeeper Vicente Holzner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fussball Club Luzern's Clint Malatesta got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fussball Club Luzern's Clint Malatesta in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Oberengstringen AC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fussball Club Luzern from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
