In the 28th minute Florens Spielhofer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Geiser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronco SC's Germain Zeitner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dominic Geiser. Florens Spielhofer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominic Geiser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo Strickler in the 92nd minute of play forced Black Stars Basel's goalkeeper Dominic Geiser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes, Benny Müller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Stars Basel and the Ronco SC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
