Silvain De Souza made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Jud Martinelli sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Ghana Black Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Uttiger came free, but Silvain De Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Hal Dein Schnausee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Venzin to maneuver through the defense. Jud Martinelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Hal Dein Schnausee's Rachid Uttiger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 47 minutes of play, Hal Dein Schnausee's Jud Martinelli made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvain De Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stuart Strauss was the one to do the kick off. Emil Trolla's late challenge caught a Hal Dein Schnausee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Trolla helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hal Dein Schnausee booed when Ghana Black Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Trolla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stuart Strauss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilarius Jeker having to interfere. Hilarius Jeker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stuart Strauss, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Hilarius Jeker made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Volker Ciprella sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Jud Martinelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvain De Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to Hal Dein Schnausee getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Lukas Wyder hit a great ball. Stuart Strauss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilarius Jeker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Strauss in the 79th minute of play. Silvain De Souza had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Stefan Parolini's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 88th match minute, Ghana Black Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stuart Strauss to maneuver through the defense. Hilarius Jeker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Strauss in the 90th minute of play. If Rachid Uttiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Volker Ciprella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilarius Jeker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stuart Strauss in the 99th minute of the match.
