Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cliff Reich kicked off to start the match. If Beppe Schauber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, Dick Schaer notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FCIM 1908's Pablo Striednig. Pablo Striednig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 7 minutes into the game, Jack Kreyenbühl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FCIM 1908's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harry Mag Eier the free kick. Jack Kreyenbühl hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Dick Schaer came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Harry Mag Eier fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dick Schaer couldn't finish the play. After 10 minutes of play, Harry Mag Eier's Jerom Keller made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Striednig was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute, Dick Schaer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCIM 1908's goalkeeper Pablo Striednig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dick Schaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dick Schaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dick Schaer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Pablo Striednig when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Daniel Gianico struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jesko Bianini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCIM 1908. Jerom Keller kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Dick Schaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beppe Schauber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Striednig having to interfere. Beppe Schauber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Jack Kreyenbühl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beppe Schauber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Striednig having to interfere. Dick Schaer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Striednig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. FCIM 1908's Daniel Gianico got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When Dick Schaer came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Harry Mag Eier fans jumped to their feet. Pablo Striednig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Schaer in the 57th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Harry Mag Eier got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Schenkel. Jesko Bianini was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joshua Brugger. In the 63rd minute, Cliff Reich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jack Kreyenbühl was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Jack Kreyenbühl kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Harry Mag Eier's Dick Schaer got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Dick Schaer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Striednig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Striednig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Schaer, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Dick Schaer struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Pablo Striednig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harry Mag Eier. FCIM 1908's Pablo Striednig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odysseus Peter in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, FCIM 1908's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Schaer came free, but Pablo Striednig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Harry Mag Eier got a corner. FCIM 1908's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romeo Paskuj ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 90th minute, Dick Schaer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Gianico was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. FCIM 1908's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
