Pablo Striednig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvatore Acciaro in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, FCIM 1908's goal looked a bit too open when Ephraim Haller came free, but Pablo Striednig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Salvatore Acciaro came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the FC Kuh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvatore Acciaro couldn't finish the play. Ephraim Haller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Salvatore Acciaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Pablo Striednig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bobby Tano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Gianico in the 16th minute. Bobby Tano was a little too slow when Cliff Reich got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Pablo Striednig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvatore Acciaro in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of FC Kuh booed when FCIM 1908 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Havel Ruckstuhl didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Salvatore Acciaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ephraim Haller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvatore Acciaro in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Striednig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ephraim Haller took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Striednig. Pablo Striednig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, Salvatore Acciaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Striednig. FCIM 1908's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvatore Acciaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCIM 1908's goalkeeper Pablo Striednig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Ephraim Haller in the 47th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvatore Acciaro made a kick off. After 56 played minutes FCIM 1908 got a freekick which was hit by Jack Kreyenbühl. FC Kuh's Stefan Gygax couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FCIM 1908. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Titus Schwartz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kuh's supporters rose to their feet, but Titus Schwartz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Striednig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FCIM 1908's Pablo Striednig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FCIM 1908 from getting a goal against them. Pablo Striednig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvatore Acciaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ephraim Haller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Striednig having to make a save. Salvatore Acciaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Striednig having to interfere. Salvatore Acciaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCIM 1908's goalkeeper Pablo Striednig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ephraim Haller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvatore Acciaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
