The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Guy Roth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kilian Mathieu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Lang having to interfere. Kilian Mathieu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregory Lang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Mollettes's Gregory Lang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kilian Mathieu in the 20th minute of play. Clas Zeffiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Lang having to interfere. Mollettes's Emanuel Herzog got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georges Schaerer in the 27th minute of play forced magna spe's goalkeeper Pirmin Rausis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georges Schaerer in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pirmin Rausis saved magna spe from getting behind. After 32 minutes of play, Mollettes's Emanuel Herzog made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pirmin Rausis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gregory Lang made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jonathan Graf sent off a good shot on target. Henri Lehmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Gregory Lang successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of magna spe booed when Mollettes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerry Buob didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Stephen Gerner hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Emanuel Herzog took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pirmin Rausis. Pirmin Rausis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to magna spe getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jaime Hungerbühler hit a great ball. When Mollettes's Georges Schaerer in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye magna spe's goalie prevented a goal. When Kilian Mathieu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the magna spe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kilian Mathieu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kilian Mathieu in the 67th minute of play forced Mollettes's goalkeeper Gregory Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to magna spe getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Guy Roth hit a great ball. Clas Zeffiro hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Georges Schaerer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Mollettes getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Laurentius Kaiser hit a great ball. Emanuel Herzog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Pirmin Rausis made a huge save. Pirmin Rausis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerry Buob went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After having played for 84 minutes, Henri Lehmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. magna spe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henri Lehmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Graf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Lang having to interfere. The magna spe manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Mollettes to win.
