Seating: 1869, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lee Pellandini made the kick off which started today's match. After 7 played minutes ARAPONGAS got a freekick which was hit by Loic Beck. In the 8th match minute, ARAPONGAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gianni Hager to maneuver through the defense. ARAPONGAS's Manol Skarlatov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilien Siedler in the 13th minute of play. Sebastian Striner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Schauber having to interfere. If Lee Pellandini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximilien Siedler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suruç's goalkeeper Armin Schauber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Lee Pellandini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Schauber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manol Skarlatov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Lampart in the 36th minute of the match. Sebastian Striner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armin Schauber came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian Striner slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 37th minute. When Niels Eglin came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the ARAPONGAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niels Eglin couldn't finish the play. Gianni Hager made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Suruç's Jordano Laberge. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximilien Siedler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Suruç was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Lowe to maneuver through the defense. ARAPONGAS's Lee Pellandini couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Suruç. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Striner in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armin Schauber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximilien Siedler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Manol Skarlatov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, ARAPONGAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lee Pellandini to maneuver through the defense. ARAPONGAS made a substitution. Riccardo Uttiger replaced Gianni Hager. Niels Eglin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Armin Schauber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ARAPONGAS's Pirmin Schyder was substituted for Lucian Budulea. Niels Eglin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Pirmin Schyder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niels Eglin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Armin Schauber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Suruç's Armin Schauber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Striner in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Sebastian Striner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Schauber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Jordano Laberge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
