Karl Marbach's late challenge caught a Hundwil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Etienne Borghi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cedric Struver was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Jesse Frischknecht charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cedric Struver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Etienne Borghi sped through Hundwil FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cedric Struver. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Etienne Borghi made a kick off. If Etienne Borghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Birger Pollastrini didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Hundwil FC's Joel Witschard shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Birger Pollastrini had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Joe Helbling's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The Hundwil FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Promille FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
