Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Irenäus Beyer got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Kevin Baumberger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yverdon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Baumberger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Irenäus Beyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th match minute, Yverdon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Baumberger to maneuver through the defense. Rasul Gräf came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Hundwil FC's Derek Murray. But to his dismay, Derek Murray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Hundwil FC's zone, Irenäus Beyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cedric Struver came out of the goal and Irenäus Beyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Yverdon getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Carol Pascolo hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Yverdon's Irenäus Beyer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cedric Struver narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Irenäus Beyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derek Murray in the 25th minute of play forced Yverdon's goalkeeper Rasul Gräf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Ruckstuhl scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cedric Struver, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rasul Gräf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derek Murray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domenico Ruckstuhl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Struver having to interfere. When Irenäus Beyer came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Yverdon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irenäus Beyer couldn't finish the play. Carol Pascolo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Cedric Struver skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Yverdon's Rasul Gräf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derek Murray in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Derek Murray to make the kick off. Domenico Ruckstuhl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Maxence Mächler made a precise shot to the right of Cedric Struver. Hundwil FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Hundwil FC's Derek Murray in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yverdon's goalie prevented a goal. Joel Witschard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Rasul Gräf made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Yverdon's Carol Pascolo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Rasul Gräf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derek Murray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Domenico Ruckstuhl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yverdon's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenico Ruckstuhl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cedric Struver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the game, Adrianus Spillmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yverdon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hundwil FC the free kick. A collision led to Yverdon getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Adrianus Spillmann hit a great ball. Rasul Gräf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Murray in the 79th minute of play. Cedric Struver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Ruckstuhl in the 81st minute of play. Orell Theissl made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Yverdon's Carol Pascolo. After a rather tough play, Hundwil FC's Dean Unternährer got a free kick in the 86th minute. Domenico Ruckstuhl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cedric Struver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rasul Gräf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Murray in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 minutes of play, Hundwil FC's Joel Witschard made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rasul Gräf was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Silvanus Weber took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Rasul Gräf to make any attempt to save it. Hundwil FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
