Dean Unternährer didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Thun 1898 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Peder Bocchi hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Hundwil FC's Joe Helbling tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Farid Finger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derek Murray in the 22nd minute of the match. Joel Witschard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Farid Finger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The FC Thun 1898 fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when FC Thun 1898's Henri Stinde looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in FC Thun 1898's zone, Joel Witschard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farid Finger came out of the goal and Joel Witschard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cedric Struver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri Stinde in the 39th minute of the match. Jeremy Riedweg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cedric Struver read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Hundwil FC's Cedric Struver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri Stinde in the 53rd minute of play. FC Thun 1898's Farid Finger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derek Murray in the 54th minute of play. Farid Finger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derek Murray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Hundwil FC's zone, Ivan Lehmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cedric Struver came out of the goal and Ivan Lehmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henri Stinde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cedric Struver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, FC Thun 1898's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Witschard came free, but Farid Finger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Basilius Saluz came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the FC Thun 1898 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilius Saluz couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, LucaLucan Waldburger managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Thun 1898's supporters rose to their feet, but LucaLucan Waldburger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cedric Struver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ivan Lehmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilius Saluz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Cedric Struver made a huge save. Ivan Lehmann struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Cedric Struver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Thun 1898. Cedric Struver didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Thun 1898's Basilius Saluz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute.
