Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lukas Bonato got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Bern FC's goal looked a bit too open when Farid Lamontagne came free, but Kristoffer Reck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC Barcelona's Piet Feer got control of the ball when Fridericus Vogel tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Barcelona's Piet Feer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. Carlos Laderoute's late challenge caught a Bern FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Laderoute helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Laderoute. 20 minutes into the match, Farid Lamontagne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristoffer Reck. Bern FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Farid Lamontagne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Andre Widenmeier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fridericus Vogel had several of the FC Barcelona's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Piet Feer as he didn't even see the shot coming. FC Barcelona's Ignacio Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marco Soltermann fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bern FC's protests and gave Marco Soltermann a yellow card for diving instead. If Ignacio Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fridericus Vogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignacio Barbosa to make the kick off. Lukas Bonato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piet Feer having to interfere. When Bern FC's Fridericus Vogel in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Barcelona's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Lukas Bonato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piet Feer was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Piet Feer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lukas Bonato's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Piet Feer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Bonato, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When Bern FC's Fridericus Vogel in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Barcelona's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Imgrüt in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Piet Feer saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. In the 69th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Laderoute to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Barcelona defense, Lukas Bonato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Piet Feer. The FC Barcelona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Piet Feer should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the game, Lukas Bonato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Piet Feer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Bern FC's Lukas Bonato in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Barcelona's goalie prevented a goal. Francis Lehrer charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francis Lehrer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Ignacio Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bern FC booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berthold Wy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Lukas Bonato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bern FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukas Bonato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piet Feer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Barbosa in the 90th minute of play forced Bern FC's goalkeeper Kristoffer Reck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Lukas Bonato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Piet Feer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Fridericus Vogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bern FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fridericus Vogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piet Feer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bern FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
