Seating: 1830, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tiziano Geiser got the match started through his kick off. Derek Murray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Fabian Hegglin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Witschard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willy Nazzari kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Derek Murray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Hegglin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Witschard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Fabian Hegglin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Hegglin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Murray in the 24th minute of play. Joel Witschard might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Hegglin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Witschard ran back to his position shaking his head. Silvanus Weber took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Hegglin. Fabian Hegglin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Joel Witschard struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Fabian Hegglin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hundwil FC. In the 38thth minute of the game Derek Murray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pfaffnau's Fabian Hegglin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th match minute, Hundwil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derek Murray to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes Pfaffnau got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Stierli.
The wind increased when Derek Murray made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gualtier Mathieu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pfaffnau's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualtier Mathieu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cedric Struver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 58 minutes, Derek Murray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hundwil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Derek Murray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hundwil FC's Derek Murray got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Derek Murray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Hegglin having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Witschard got free with Fabian Hegglin in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Hegglin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derek Murray in the 88th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Derek Murray left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hundwil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Pfaffnau fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hundwil FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
