Raffaelo von Felten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benoit Luthiger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrico Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adamantios Vlastarakis in the 15th minute of the match. Benoit Luthiger hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yanic Zimmermann got free with Enrico Peter in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th match minute, Suruç was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Chauvet to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Eschikofen booed when Suruç was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benoit Luthiger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrico Peter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yanic Zimmermann in the 22nd minute. Raffaelo von Felten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Chauvet in the 23rd minute of play. Olivier Jakobeit took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raffaelo von Felten. Raffaelo von Felten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Enrico Peter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yanic Zimmermann in the 28th minute. Raffaelo von Felten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Jakobeit, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Suruç were awarded a corner. Stig Meyer went to the cornerflag to take it. Raffaelo von Felten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivier Jakobeit in the 38th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Eschikofen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Suruç:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Dick Chauvet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suruç's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Chauvet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raffaelo von Felten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Olivier Jakobeit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Eschikofen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Suruç were winning 0-4.
The wind increased when Adamantios Vlastarakis made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dick Chauvet got free with Raffaelo von Felten in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrico Peter came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Eschikofen's Adamantios Vlastarakis. But to his dismay, Adamantios Vlastarakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Olivier Jakobeit struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Raffaelo von Felten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suruç. In the 75th minute, Giacomo Rochat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Yanic Zimmermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Dick Chauvet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Raffaelo von Felten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Suruç's Giacomo Rochat got a free kick in the 91st minute. Enrico Peter came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Eschikofen's Yanic Zimmermann. But to his dismay, Yanic Zimmermann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Suruç were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Eschikofen's much stronger midfield.
