Pirsus's Romain Minder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adamantios Vlastarakis in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Pirsus booed when Eschikofen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yanic Zimmermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ulysses Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 38 minutes into the game, Roberto Leclerc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eschikofen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirsus the free kick. Ulysses Recife's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raffaelo von Felten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Raffaelo von Felten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 何洋寒 in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 54th match minute, Pirsus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randy Käuflin to maneuver through the defense. Raffaelo von Felten was a little too slow when 何洋寒 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 0-4. The Eschikofen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pirsus's performance. The match ended with a win for Pirsus.
