Spectators: 7668 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 168) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dick Chauvet kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Oberalp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anatolij Blättler to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Olivier Jakobeit fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Stig Meyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyn Koch having to interfere. Oberalp's Martyn Koch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivier Jakobeit in the 11th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anatolij Blättler during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anatolij Blättler kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Oberalp's zone, Dick Chauvet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martyn Koch came out of the goal and Dick Chauvet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Suruç's Olivier Jakobeit dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andy Cavegn during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Oberalp getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Andy Cavegn hit a great ball. The long shot by Stig Meyer in the 34th minute really tested Martyn Koch's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Anatolij Blättler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oberalp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anatolij Blättler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Suruç's Benoit Luthiger in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oberalp's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute, Stig Meyer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrico Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Ubersechs, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Suruç's Dick Chauvet got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Joe Bosch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Suruç's Tomas Kernen got a free kick in the 65th minute. Alex Espirito made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Anatolij Blättler. Thanks to some nice moves Anatolij Blättler could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Enrico Peter however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olivier Jakobeit in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martyn Koch saved Oberalp from getting behind. The supporters of Suruç booed when Oberalp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Cavegn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martyn Koch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olivier Jakobeit went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Dick Chauvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the game, Suruç's Dick Chauvet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martyn Koch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Dick Chauvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Suruç were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Oberalp for a fine match.
