The Monte Brè fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Amstad was the one to do the kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Fabio Amstad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monte Brè's Fabian Gisler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olympio Helmholz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans-Ruedi Filli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levi Gräf, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Fabian Gisler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Amstad in the 76th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clint Gassmann during the 78th minute. When the match was over Monte Brè could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Ämmebronx throughout the match.
