After having played for 7 minutes, Andre Doucet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lameiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andre Doucet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artur Freihofer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerwin Nyfeler having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Garrick Curti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lameiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garrick Curti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artur Freihofer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Kerwin Nyfeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Garrick Curti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kerwin Nyfeler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Artur Freihofer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artur Freihofer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerwin Nyfeler having to interfere. In the 26th minute Andre Doucet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerwin Nyfeler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Lameiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Lüthi came free, but Valentino Maina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Band of Brothers's zone, Garrick Curti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerwin Nyfeler came out of the goal and Garrick Curti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andre Doucet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute, Jochen Sueur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute of the match Tobias Sevier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kerwin Nyfeler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valentino Maina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uli Obrecht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Freihofer in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kerwin Nyfeler saved Band of Brothers from getting behind. Jochen Sueur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Lameiro FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Maurice Lüthi made the kick off in the second half. When Garrick Curti came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lameiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garrick Curti couldn't finish the play. Kerwin Nyfeler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Freihofer in the 55th minute of the match. Valentino Maina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Seitz in the 58th minute of the match. Valentino Maina came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Band of Brothers's Uli Obrecht. But to his dismay, Uli Obrecht quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Valentino Maina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Amlehn, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Band of Brothers's zone, Andre Doucet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerwin Nyfeler came out of the goal and Andre Doucet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lameiro FC's Artur Freihofer in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Band of Brothers's goalie prevented a goal. Kerwin Nyfeler was a little too slow when Andre Doucet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garrick Curti got free with Kerwin Nyfeler in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurice Lüthi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentino Maina having to interfere. Artur Freihofer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerwin Nyfeler having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Lameiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Jochen Sueur. When the match was over Lameiro FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Band of Brothers throughout the match.
