A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Stephan Lejeune didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrice Tanguay went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 18th match minute, Winikon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berthold Winkel to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Gisler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefano Stempfel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berthold Winkel in the 25th minute of play forced Monte Brè's goalkeeper Fabian Gisler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olympio Helmholz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Stephan Lejeune made a huge save. Stephan Lejeune showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrice Tanguay in the 35th minute of the match. Patrice Tanguay succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 36th playminute. 41 minutes into the match, Mirko Eichelberger dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stephan Lejeune, 4-1. Berthold Winkel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Gisler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Stephan Lejeune showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrice Tanguay in the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 minutes of play, Monte Brè's Patrice Tanguay made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stephan Lejeune was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefano Stempfel in the 56th minute of play forced Monte Brè's goalkeeper Fabian Gisler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mirko Eichelberger kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Monte Brè's goalkeeper Fabian Gisler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berthold Winkel. Fabian Gisler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 73 minutes on the clock, Clint Gassmann commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 74th minute, Clint Gassmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Berthold Winkel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Gisler was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. Stephan Lejeune showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olympio Helmholz in the 91st minute of the match. Mirko Eichelberger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Winikon's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
