The supporters of Graben booed when Band of Brothers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uli Obrecht didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicholas Seitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Udo Wider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurice Lüthi in the 28th minute of the match. Maurice Lüthi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Udo Wider read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Kerwin Nyfeler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Gygax in the 38th minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Urs Fenstermacher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Graben and the Band of Brothers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Urs Fenstermacher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Nicholas Seitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Bernhard Jolidon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Band of Brothers's Kerwin Nyfeler. Kerwin Nyfeler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

59 minutes into the match, Band of Brothers's goal looked a bit too open when Hennes Giacomini came free, but Kerwin Nyfeler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Band of Brothers's Kerwin Nyfeler got control of the ball when Bernhard Jolidon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Band of Brothers's Kerwin Nyfeler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hennes Giacomini in the 64th minute of play. Hennes Giacomini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kerwin Nyfeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Hennes Giacomini made a precise shot to the right of Kerwin Nyfeler. Band of Brothers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Urs Fenstermacher hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernhard Jolidon got free with Kerwin Nyfeler in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicholas Seitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Urs Fenstermacher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Graben's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urs Fenstermacher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th match minute, Band of Brothers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romain Hegner to maneuver through the defense. Hennes Giacomini struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Kerwin Nyfeler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Graben. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Band of Brothers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Graben:s goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Graben had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
