After a rather tough play, Dinamo ST Gallen's Gordon Suter got a free kick in the 10th minute. Cäsar Daecher made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ernest Pollastrini sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Fifa FC booed when Dinamo ST Gallen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leander Boss didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernest Pollastrini got free with Cäsar Daecher in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cäsar Daecher was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stefan Galliker. After a defensive mix-up in Dinamo ST Gallen's zone, Anatol Brünisholz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cäsar Daecher came out of the goal and Anatol Brünisholz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the game, Leander Boss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dinamo ST Gallen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fifa FC the free kick. Leander Boss hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Gonçalo Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leander Boss was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 37th minute Francisco Borer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Merz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Fifa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Netzer came free, but Rudolf Merz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Theo Netzer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rudolf Merz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ernest Pollastrini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cäsar Daecher having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute, Giacomo Hecht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Pollastrini's late challenge caught a Dinamo ST Gallen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest Pollastrini helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dinamo ST Gallen booed when Fifa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Pollastrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Dinamo ST Gallen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fifa FC:s goal. Cäsar Daecher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Secco in the 75th minute of the match. Philo Ehrler made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dinamo ST Gallen's Giacomo Hecht. Dinamo ST Gallen's attentive Balduin Müggler managed to snatch the ball when Stefan Galliker made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Theo Netzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Fifa FC got a freekick which was hit by Dan Vogt. In the 83rd match minute, Fifa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philo Ehrler to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Dinamo ST Gallen's Duncan Silvestri got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Omar Jardan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernest Pollastrini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Omar Jardan in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dinamo ST Gallen's Balduin Müggler. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Netzer in the 95th minute of play forced Fifa FC's goalkeeper Rudolf Merz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fifa FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dinamo ST Gallen for a fine match.
