The audience was convinced that Yannis Gisler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jürgen Ritieni was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. FC Hombrechtikon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolai Gmür should have stopped the shot. Federico Duerr took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolai Gmür. Nicolai Gmür dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, FC Länk dänk's Fabricius Fuchs got a free kick in the 24th minute. Nicolai Gmür came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Länk dänk's Federico Duerr. But to his dismay, Federico Duerr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 33rd match minute, FC Länk dänk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Wey to maneuver through the defense. If Teobaldo Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1. FC Hombrechtikon's Nicolai Gmür played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Lenzin in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Duerr in the 43rd minute of play forced 1. FC Hombrechtikon's goalkeeper Nicolai Gmür to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Massimo Stutz with Marin Rager as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Nicolai Gmür showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Duerr in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Wey to strike the kick off in the second half. Federico Duerr who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Nicolai Gmür when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to FC Länk dänk getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Thomas Lachapelle hit a great ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Peder Baertschi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1. FC Hombrechtikon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peder Baertschi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 played minutes FC Länk dänk got a freekick which was hit by Fabricius Fuchs. In the 66th minute of the match Peder Baertschi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jürgen Ritieni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Federico Duerr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yannis Gisler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jürgen Ritieni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Noel Lenzin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Länk dänk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Lenzin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 minutes, Yannis Gisler made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC Länk dänk's Jürgen Ritieni tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When 1. FC Hombrechtikon's Yannis Gisler in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Länk dänk's goalie prevented a goal. FC Länk dänk's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
