After having played for 6 minutes, Elmar Renkewitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Safenwil AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elmar Renkewitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Safenwil AC's Giusto Gut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan LondeLalonde in the 8th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Yan LondeLalonde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giusto Gut. Safenwil AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yan LondeLalonde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Real Kurdistan 05's zone, Eduardo Havier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludwig Summermatter came out of the goal and Eduardo Havier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugh Righetti charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugh Righetti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Safenwil AC's Elmar Renkewitz got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elmar Renkewitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Real Kurdistan 05's Ludwig Summermatter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmar Renkewitz in the 53rd minute of play. Eduardo Havier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ludwig Summermatter having to make a save. Giusto Gut was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Sylvain Krell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sylvain Krell really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sylvain Krell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Kurdistan 05's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylvain Krell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giusto Gut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduardo Havier hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Giusto Gut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylvain Krell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giusto Gut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yan LondeLalonde in the 80th minute. Eduardo Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Hugh Righetti in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Safenwil AC's Alberto Forcucci. A collision led to Safenwil AC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alberto Forcucci hit a great ball. Giusto Gut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylvain Krell in the 93rd minute of the match. Real Kurdistan 05's Yan LondeLalonde got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
