Real Kurdistan 05's Ludwig Summermatter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemens Albiez in the 37th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemens Albiez in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludwig Summermatter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Clemens Albiez put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ludwig Summermatter. Gernot Lapierre was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. Nicola Léveillé shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yan LondeLalonde to make the kick off. Ludwig Summermatter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroun Flückiger in the 76th minute. In the 89th minute, SL Benfica's Serge Jenny dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7. When the final whistle sounded SL Benfica left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Kurdistan 05.
