Elmar Renkewitz kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Länk dänk's Thomas Lachapelle got a free kick in the 31st minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Eduardo Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Safenwil AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Havier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jürgen Ritieni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmar Renkewitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Federico Duerr scored 1-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giusto Gut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Noel Lenzin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giusto Gut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Safenwil AC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Stig Fruehauf hit a great ball. Noel Lenzin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Länk dänk's Thomas Lachapelle got a free kick in the 56th minute. Eduardo Havier scored 1-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jürgen Ritieni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Korbin Spörri hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes Safenwil AC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Forcucci. The supporters of Safenwil AC booed when FC Länk dänk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Lenzin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Havier took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jürgen Ritieni. Jürgen Ritieni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of Safenwil AC booed when FC Länk dänk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrad Baumeister didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Safenwil AC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC Länk dänk side.
