Theo Netzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jürgen Ritieni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dinamo ST Gallen's Claude Eglin got a free kick in the 17th minute. Cäsar Daecher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrad Baumeister in the 27th minute of play. Jürgen Ritieni made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Theo Netzer sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Borer came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jürgen Ritieni could save by the left post. When Massimo Stutz fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Länk dänk's protests and gave Massimo Stutz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Francisco Borer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dinamo ST Gallen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jürgen Ritieni made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Francisco Borer sent off a good shot on target. After 45 played minutes FC Länk dänk got a freekick which was hit by Federico Duerr. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Francisco Borer scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jürgen Ritieni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Federico Duerr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Conrad Baumeister kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cäsar Daecher. That made the score 3-1 in the 58 minute of play. Gordon Suter lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Dinamo ST Gallen's Gordon Suter got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the Dinamo ST Gallen defense, Conrad Baumeister kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cäsar Daecher. The Dinamo ST Gallen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cäsar Daecher should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Dinamo ST Gallen getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Balduin Müggler hit a great ball. Federico Duerr succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-4. The Dinamo ST Gallen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Länk dänk's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Länk dänk.
