Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Huber Lambrozzi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Huber Lambrozzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Balthasar De la Cruz. MUtti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Huber Lambrozzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Giancarlo Lehmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luther Rossignol having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Delémont EC's Eduardo Furst tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Stephen Rüegg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delémont EC's Marvin Neuenschwander got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marvin Neuenschwander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balthasar De la Cruz having to interfere. Giancarlo Lehmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Luther Rossignol made a huge save. In the 36th minute of the match, Rolf Bolliger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luther Rossignol saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lyonel Finger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Delémont EC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolf Bolliger made a kick off. Luther Rossignol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giancarlo Lehmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Balthasar De la Cruz came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Delémont EC's Marvin Neuenschwander. But to his dismay, Marvin Neuenschwander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in MUtti's zone, Marvin Neuenschwander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balthasar De la Cruz came out of the goal and Marvin Neuenschwander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luther Rossignol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giancarlo Lehmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Rolf Bolliger succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Giancarlo Lehmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Luther Rossignol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolf Bolliger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Rolf Bolliger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luther Rossignol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Delémont EC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Stephen Rüegg hit a great ball. Fridericus Martinelli was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luther Rossignol came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by MUtti's Klaus Reiter. But to his dismay, Klaus Reiter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Delémont EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MUtti.
