The supporters of FC Sarajevo SG booed when Eggersriet FC 89 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beniamino Jerzinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Hansen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Schott in the 12th minute of play. FC Sarajevo SG's Tomas Müller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennett Stalder in the 19th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Eggersriet FC 89 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philipp Lipp to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Müller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martial Gautschi's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Eggersriet FC 89's Ingvar Hansen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Eggersriet FC 89 from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martial Gautschi in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Müller saved FC Sarajevo SG from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Denis Schott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Eggersriet FC 89 defense, Denis Schott kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingvar Hansen. The Eggersriet FC 89 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingvar Hansen should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Eggersriet FC 89's Ingvar Hansen got control of the ball when Denis Schott tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martial Gautschi made a kick off. Ingvar Hansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Schott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Sarajevo SG's Denis Schott got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beniamino Jerzinger got free with Tomas Müller in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Eggersriet FC 89's Fred Waechter got a free kick in the 78th minute. Jens Zingg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ingvar Hansen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When FC Sarajevo SG's Denis Schott in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
