In the 37thth minute of the game Denis Schott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bureboys's Friedel Müller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulrich Pratter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Tomas Müller made a huge save. After some careless play in the Bureboys defense, Denis Schott kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Friedel Müller. The Bureboys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Friedel Müller should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 52nd minute, Bruno Werfel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bureboys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 55 minutes of play, Bureboys's Conrad Bohren made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Müller was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute, Cäsar Osterhagen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Denis Schott recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Friedel Müller. Denis Schott showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. In the 64th minute, Conrad Bohren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Müller was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. If Christy Ulrich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Schott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Friedel Müller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ulrich Pratter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bureboys's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulrich Pratter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Müller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Ulrich Pratter notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of FC Sarajevo SG's Tomas Müller. Tomas Müller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the match, Ulrich Pratter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Müller. FC Sarajevo SG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulrich Pratter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-3. 81 minutes into the game, Cäsar Osterhagen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bureboys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Sarajevo SG the free kick. Cäsar Osterhagen hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes Bureboys got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Despland. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasmus Accola in the 89th minute of play forced Bureboys's goalkeeper Friedel Müller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Bureboys got a freekick which was hit by Cäsar Osterhagen. The audience was convinced that Denis Schott's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Friedel Müller was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, FC Sarajevo SG's goal looked a bit too open when Cäsar Osterhagen came free, but Tomas Müller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bureboys's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
