Stefan Schwyzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pietro Zoller, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurenzo Lischer in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Schwyzer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xander Blaser might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonzo Hellmüller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xander Blaser ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute Rod Keller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Hellmüller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Hellmüller made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Laurent Bucciarelli sent off a good shot on target. After 22 minutes, Raphael Sidler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monkey Gang and the Alienstilt players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Monkey Gang's Alonzo Hellmüller got control of the ball when Rod Keller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rod Engele's late challenge caught a Alienstilt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rod Engele helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Monkey Gang got a freekick which was hit by Rod Engele. In the 30th minute, Laurent Bucciarelli fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alonzo Hellmüller, passed just outside the right post. Joseph Lehmann kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francois Jenny during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Alienstilt got a freekick which was hit by Francois Jenny. The supporters of Monkey Gang booed when Alienstilt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xander Zehnder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Xander Blaser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alienstilt's supporters rose to their feet, but Xander Blaser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Hellmüller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Alienstilt getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Laurent Bucciarelli hit a great ball. Stefan Schwyzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pietro Zoller in the 44th minute of the match. Laurent Bucciarelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alonzo Hellmüller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xander Zehnder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Hellmüller having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Alienstilt's Laurent Bucciarelli got a free kick in the 54th minute. A collision led to Monkey Gang getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Raphael Sidler hit a great ball. Alienstilt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Laurenzo Lischer scored to the left of an out of position Stefan Schwyzer, making the score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurent Bucciarelli in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo Hellmüller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ian Baumgartner charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian Baumgartner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, Monkey Gang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Baumgartner to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Monkey Gang's zone, Rod Keller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Hellmüller came out of the goal and Rod Keller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Alienstilt's Laurent Bucciarelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alonzo Hellmüller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Rod Keller made a precise shot to the right of Alonzo Hellmüller. Monkey Gang's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Pietro Zoller scored 1-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Schwyzer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stefan Schwyzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurenzo Lischer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rod Keller came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Alienstilt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rod Keller couldn't finish the play. Xander Blaser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Alienstilt getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Xander Blaser hit a great ball. Alonzo Hellmüller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Keller in the 94th minute of the match. Laurent Bucciarelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonzo Hellmüller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The supporters of Alienstilt booed when Monkey Gang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Lehmann didn't get a good kick on the ball.
