With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remi Mader prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bastien Visser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harold Hinnen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remi Mader having to make a save. After 23 played minutes Lütmerken got a freekick which was hit by Mathieu Clèment. 26 minutes into the game, Ivan Sperisen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Remi Mader was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Remi Mader stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sascha Waller's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Bastien Visser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Remi Mader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harold Hinnen in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remi Mader prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harold Hinnen to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaston Schwyzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Meier, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harold Hinnen in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Lütmerken's Remi Mader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Hinnen in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th play minute Harold Hinnen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Remi Mader. 0-3. 79 minutes into the game, Belfaux's Harold Hinnen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remi Mader made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Harold Hinnen might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remi Mader. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harold Hinnen ran back to his position shaking his head. Remi Mader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Hinnen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harold Hinnen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefano Labrie kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Lütmerken fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Belfaux were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
