The supporters of Karakartal JK booed when Black Jack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cameron Bargherr didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Cameron Bargherr made a precise shot to the right of Artur Walter. Karakartal JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Christophe Besse struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Artur Walter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Jack. In the 19th minute, Francois Strebel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Karakartal JK's Francois Strebel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ladislas Vittiger. Ladislas Vittiger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Ladislas Vittiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Zeiher in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Black Jack getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cameron Bargherr hit a great ball. Matthias Zeiher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislas Vittiger having to interfere. 40 minutes in the game, Francois Strebel fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ladislas Vittiger having to interfere. With a little luck, Black Jack's Ladislas Vittiger got control of the ball when Fabrizio Fridli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Thommy Huber shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Walter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Karakartal JK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Franklin Amsel hit a great ball. Artur Walter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Kohler in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marc Jäggi to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Karakartal JK's goalkeeper Artur Walter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nico Kohler. Denis Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karakartal JK's Anders Barth got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Matthias Zeiher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francois Strebel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cameron Bargherr was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 63rd match minute, Black Jack was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cameron Bargherr to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Francois Strebel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislas Vittiger was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Francois Strebel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ladislas Vittiger was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ladislas Vittiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francois Strebel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Anders Barth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karakartal JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Barth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislas Vittiger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Matthias Zeiher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislas Vittiger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francois Strebel's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 95th minute, Nico Kohler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Jack fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.
